About Amruta Dhaanya - Our Story and Values of Trust

Rooted in Trust, Growing Together

About Us
Amruta Dhaanya – An Ahaar Kutumbam Initiative

Our Story

Amruta Dhaanya was born from a simple observation: many households, small growers, and families grow fresh food for their own use, but surplus produce often goes unused or is sold without fair value.

At the same time, many families want fresh, locally sourced food they can trust — but they do not always know where it comes from.

Amruta Dhaanya was created to bridge this gap.

We connect registered local sellers and household growers with nearby customers through daily fresh availability, careful handling, and fair local sourcing.

Our Mission

Our mission is to reduce avoidable food waste, support local growers, and help households access selected fresh produce from registered local sources.

We focus on honest availability, responsible handling, seller privacy, and community-based trust.

Amruta Dhaanya is not a supermarket or mass-production farm. We are a local fresh-food network built around people, produce, and trust.

Our Trust System

To protect seller privacy and improve accountability, Amruta Dhaanya uses a private Service Code System.

Each registered seller may be assigned a private service code, such as AD-101. This helps us maintain internal records while keeping seller names, phone numbers, and home addresses private.

Our trust system is based on registered local sellers, private seller service codes, basic freshness checks, honest daily availability, careful pickup and delivery coordination, and customer feedback.

Our Promise

Nature over standardization.
We do not promise every item every day. Because we rely on local availability and seasonal produce, our Fresh List changes with what registered sellers can genuinely provide.

Transparency over labels.
We promise selected fresh items from registered local sources, handled with care and shared transparently through our daily Fresh List.

A note on natural growing.
Some of our sellers may follow traditional or natural growing practices for their own households. However, unless clearly stated with valid documentation, Amruta Dhaanya does not claim that every item is certified organic, laboratory-tested, certified pesticide-free, or government-certified.

We believe in honest sourcing, responsible handling, and building trust through clear communication rather than exaggerated claims.
